As a part of the Meadowlands
Area YMCA Learning Center, this program allows your child to develop
socially and intellectually through hands-on activities including those
teaching fine and large motor skills, reading readiness, mathematics and
science, arts and crafts, dramatic play, free-choice learning centers, and
music and movement. All children will have access to an indoor and outdoor
play area and IBM computers in our NJ State Licensed Child Care facility.
Your pre-schooler will undoubtedly be ready for Kindergarten after learning
and exploring with the certified teachers and staff around him/her.

children. The School Age Child Care (SACC) is offered in a safe and
exciting environment. All SACC programs are licensed childcare sites by the
State of New Jersey, Department of Human Services.

Generation Us
The Place to Hang Out After School - Grades 4-8
The Meadowlands Area YMCA is happy to announce the Generation Us program is now here! Generation Us is the perfect program designed to address the needs of your child, offering special activities catered to their age group and social needs. Generation Us is for students in grades 4-8. Flexible Schedules: choose 2-5 days and 4:30pm or 6:00pm (up to 7:00pm in select school districts) pick-up.

FUN!It’s important that
children have a safe and stimulating environment in which to spend their
vacation time. This is not always an easy situation to find. However, the
YMCA has the solution. The Meadowlands Area YMCA has made it their priority
to provide quality child care to those individuals who need it the most;
your children!
We offer a fun filled day of
activity to children in grades Kindergarten through Eighth in both large and
small group settings under the guidance of our well trained staff. Our
program has access to a park with play equipment, as well as a field where
we can hold organized games. We provide morning and afternoon snacks and
lots and lots of attention.
